Analogue Earth was founded in 2014 by Derek Mann and Early Stephens Jr. Fate and circumstance had brought Derek and Early together outside of music, but they soon discovered they shared similar visions for songwriting and performing. Right away they began to craft compelling compositions. The duo started playing local shows where their unique sound and emotional songwriting won the praise of local critics, and fans found their original tracks both interesting and accessible. Shortly thereafter, Abe Savas and Dan Adam joined the band, rounding out their sound. In February 2015, the band formally took the name Analogue Earth after having used the working name of Rubiks Cube Algorithm during its formation.
